GGPoker today launches GGCheers, an innovative promotion that celebrates good fortune at the poker tables by further rewarding players that have won big hands or big pots.

Jason Koon Joins GGTeam As Newest Global Ambassador
Poker superstar will act as advocate for VIP and high volume players
GGPoker today announces that Jason Koon, one of the world’s most successful poker players, has joined the online poker room’s GGTeam as its latest Global Ambassador.
Hailing from West Virginia, Koon is 10th on the All Time Money List, with over $32M in live tournament cashes, including multiple high roller tournament victories.
He will join other GGTeam Global Ambassadors, including Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Dan Bilzerian and Fedor Holz, in representing GGPoker live and online.
Koon will act in a special capacity at GGPoker. GGPoker Launches The Road To WSOP Europe From October 17
Qualify for Europe’s richest live event from just €25
GGPoker today announces that the Road to WSOP Europe, satellites to the World Series of Poker® Europe Main Event, are scheduled to launch exclusively on the online poker room on October 17.
The WSOP Europe Main Event is a €10,350 buy-in poker tournament, running December 3 through 8 in King’s Casino, Rozvadov, Czechia. The prestigious event boasts €5,000,000 in guaranteed cash prizes.

GGPoker’s $7.25M-Guaranteed GGSOP To Launch October 23
Ultra-affordable tournament series will include feature events with buy-ins from $2.50
GGPoker today announces that the next iteration of its ever-popular GGSOP online tournament series will run from October 23 through November 7, with certain Day 1 flights already underway.
GGSOP guarantees at least $7.25M in cash prizes across 54 events, with buy-ins ranging from $2.50 to $150. The GGSOP schedule closely mirrors that of the recently-hosted WSOP Online 2021, with buy-ins set at a fraction of those of that enormously popular series.

Day 1A of this year’s World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship is a done deal, and GGPoker players were among the biggest stacks bagging up their chips when play came to a halt!
Well-known pro Mustapha Kanit leads the field on 363,500, with 348 players making it through from 523 starters.

Another day, another set of happy players bagging up their chips in the biggest tournament of them all, the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship.
A field of 845 players hit the felt today, with over 600 making it through to fight another day.
Steve Foutty finished the day as chip leader, with a 287,000 stack, with ClubGG qualifier Matthew Traylor right behind him on 279,500!

Three days into the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, and yet again GGPoker players are making waves and bagging massive stacks!
A total of 600 players took part in Day 1C, and at the end of play, 433 had survived to compete again in the upcoming Day 2.
GGPoker’s Aleksandr Shevliakov of Russia topped the pile to bag 392,600, and after the first three flights of the WSOP Main Event, he’s the overall tournament chip leader! Well done Aleksandr! He pulled in some massive pots along the way…

WSOP $10K Main Event Day 1D: Wrap Up
Day 1D of the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, the fourth of the Day 1 flights, boasted the biggest field by far, with more than 2,500 players taking their shot at the biggest tournament on the planet and the title of Poker World Champion for 2021. That’s more players on Day 1D than the combined field for the first three Day 1s!
By the end of a grueling day of play, 1,939 participants were left standing, ready to return in a few days to take on Day 2.
The player that bagged the most was Adedapo Ajayi of Littleton, Colorado, finishing the day with a tasty 340,900

WSOP $10K Main Event Day 1E: Wrap Up
The fifth Day 1 of the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship has come and gone, with an additional 797 players putting down $10K and going into battle on the most prestigious stage in poker for the biggest title of them all!
This means that through five 2021 starting days, a combined 5,315 players have taken to the felt, and with an additional starting day to come, plus the opportunity for players to buy in at the start of the Day 2s, we’re still waiting to see how this year’s WSOP Main Event will stack up attendance-wise compared to previous years. The most recent live WSOP Main Event, in 2019, saw a total of 8,569 compete, while the biggest WSOP Main Event ever, way back in 2006, saw 8,773 participate.
When Day 1E ended, 592 players had survived – but unfortunately, GGPoker’s Daniel Negreanu was not among them, having run his Kings into Aces earlier in the day.
Of 10 GGPoker players ponying up in Day 1E, 6 have made it to Day 2 – well done all!

WSOP $10K Main Event Day 1F and Day 2ABD: Wrap Up
Today saw two different flights in the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship; firstly, the six Day 1 was run – Day 1F – while simultaneously the surviving players from Days 1A, 1B and 1D came together to play the first Day 2!
It was a day of high excitement, both for the players starting out their WSOP Main Event journey and those returning for a second day of action.
Day 1F
Today’s Day 1F field swelled to 1,045 players, with 785 of those bagging up chips at the end of play.
Adam Walton of the United States finished the day as chip leader, collecting an impressive total of 334,00o over the five levels played.
